• The initiative, part of the Corporate Impact Venturing (CIV LAC) project driven by the IDB Group through its innovation lab, IDB Lab, and its corporate arm, IDB Invest, along with Wayra Hispam, aims to foster the relationship between corporations and tech startups. They have launched their first open innovation challenge, seeking Climate Tech startups.
• CIV LAC focuses on emerging impact companies, providing solutions to regional issues such as social inclusion, education, support for MSMEs, and sustainability.
• In addition to sector-specific open innovation challenges, the project will have its own fund and promote co-investment among member organizations.
